Deep Green App Reviews

The game is fine, but Im confused about previous reviews referring to the display/graphics as superb, stunning, beautiful, etc. Yes, it looks nice - but its very simple and plain. Some may call that elegant or classy and I respect their opinion.. Based on the price and the reviews, however, I was expecting some smoking 3-D graphics. Yes, I saw the screen shots above, but chose to ignore them thinking there was much more to it. Im sure this will be an excellent chess app, I just had my expectations way too high on the graphics.

The game crashes far too often. I find myself restarting the app several times per game. I dont lost progress, which is good, but I still find it very frustrating. Im running the app on an iPad 2, so I dont think my hardware is the problem.

App crashes now. Please fix.

Deep Green is the nicest chess game on iPad but the new skin is not as beautiful as the classic skin, remember to go to the settings and enable the classic skin, I hope they make the classic skin, the default one.

I have HIARCS and SHREDDER, which are way superior to DEEP GREEN.

The app is great, smooth, and gorgeous. I think for $8 though, you should get more than just the ability to play a basic game of chess.

The most beautiful chess game out there for the iPad or iPhone. The visual quality of the board and pieces is unmatched. There are obviously apps out there with more bells and whistles (Shredder, etc.), but if elegant design is what youre looking for, this is it.

ok i know im going to seem like im asking a total idiot question, but i just want to ask to make sure., For Deep Green Chess, the levels are arranged so that Level 1 is the easiest to play against, and Level 10 being the hardest right? a lot of you are going to be like "well duhhh" haha but ive just been a little surprised because even on very "low" levels the computer can be really difficult to beat. Im by no means avery good chess player, but in all honesty i didnt think i was THAT bad...

The game is beautiful and very clean, the most gorgeous Chess Game interface on App Store. Other great pro is the universal binary. But I must say that the 1.2 version needs some features: Deep Green Chess doesnt have an movements history, an analytical engine, an analytical small graph (just to see how youre doing during a game). It also doesnt have any way of personalization like pieces designs, boards colors. It also doesnt have any way of saving games, or exporting to mail. Shredder is more functional, but less beautiful.

Needs to be updated for the new retina display equipped iPad.

Its greatest chess game ever on appstore .. But i love things with retina sense ! .... Ex : when i hold any chess part its seems like bad resolution .... Great app

This is one of the strongest chess app Ive played so far. I still have trouble beating level 4 ha. But ever time I get a call, the app closes and it get annoying an after I open it back up, the app glitches out. I also feel that the app is limited in feature compared to tchess pro. If there could be more features in future updates, this app would truly be five stars

Falls short on not having GameCenter support for online play or retina graphics.

please add support for iphone 5

After a couple of days, the app completely stopped working. The splash screen pops up, then goes away, and . . . nothing! It started off looking promising, but an app that doesnt work isnt worth anything.

Used to be a Great App, but keeps on crashing now on the new iOS. Also please add retina support for ipad and a more granular way of setting the skill level.

The game is nice; however, its so buggy. For example, if I accidentally flip the board I cant turn it back. Also its not updated for iPhone 5.

The app crashes and cant be opened. I have downloaded several times, and it still does not open. Need to fix.
